Anthony Jamieson (Registered Psychologist)

Anthony is a registered psychologist who brings substantial life experience, practical insight, and compassion to his work, following a successful earlier career as a trade-qualified electrician. He offers evidence-based psychological support within a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic space.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Professional Psychology. He draws on approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), tailoring therapy to each person’s needs and goals.

He has particular interests in trauma-related difficulties (including PTSD and moral injury), mental health in high-pressure industries such as construction and mining, and transpersonal and spiritually oriented work. Anthony takes a holistic view of wellbeing and is passionate about reducing stigma, building on clients’ strengths, and supporting growth through adversity.

Nikki Jamieson (Research and Practice Advisor – Suicidology & Social Work (PhD, MSuicidology, Social Worker)

Nikki is a social worker and researcher with specialised expertise in moral injury and suicide prevention. She holds a PhD and a Master of Suicidology, bringing a robust academic foundation to her practice and collaborative work.

Her research and clinical interests centre on the impacts of moral injury in high‑stress professions, with a particular focus on defence, emergency services, and frontline care settings. Through her work with Moral Injury Australia and wider sector engagement, Nikki contributes to the development of evidence‑informed frameworks that support practitioners and organisations to recognise, respond to, and mitigate moral injury.

Across her career, Nikki has integrated social work practice, suicidology, and moral injury research to inform trauma‑aware, ethically grounded approaches to care. She collaborates with NeuroHarmony as part of the broader team, offering research and advisory input that strengthens our understanding of moral injury and its implications for assessment, intervention, and service design.

Millie

Millie is a Golden Retriever–Labrador cross who is currently in training to become a therapy dog and a much‑loved member of the practice. Born with a club foot, Millie has never let this hold her back; she approaches life with enthusiasm, resilience, and a joyful energy that clients immediately notice. She is affectionate, playful, and gently attuned to people, making her well suited to supporting a warm, welcoming environment in sessions. Millie’s presence reflects our commitment to compassionate, person‑centred care—sometimes with a wagging tail and a soft nose to nudge you hello.
